Walking
through the doors of the Loki Lounge (named after the
Norse God of mischief) is like entering another world. Located
on Second Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope,
the center of Brooklyn's largest growing nightlife strip, one
will find very few reasons
If it's a neighborhood
pub you are looking for you will surely
be comfortable sitting at the old fashioned
red oak bar listening to your favorite
songs on our eclectic jukebox. If
bar games are your thing, then come in
and sign up for the pool table or a game
of darts.
If
you spend most of your weekends drinking
overpriced drinks in downtown Manhattan
lounges, then you no longer need to cross
the river simply for the atmosphere. The
back room (available for private parties)
is a large luxurious room filled with chaotically
arranged antique couches and coffee tables,
a skylight and sectioned off by tremendous
red velvet curtains hanging from the twenty-foot
ceiling.
Open
seven nights a week (4pm-4am on Mon. - Fri.
and 12 noon -
4am on Sat - Sun.) you can come
on different nights for a different vibe. During
the week, you'll find a number of different
local bartenders that are always ready
to greet you with a handshake and welcome
you into our family of regulars.
Built
by Brooklyn natives, in December of 1999, combining the excitement of Manhattan
with the warmth of Brooklyn, the Loki Lounge has succeeded in
appealing to people from all walks of life. Whether we're serving you a martini
in the lounge or a beer and a shot at the bar, we always manage to stay down
to earth - Brooklyn style!
